Bruce Henry is an Emeritus Professor of Applied Mathematics at UNSW, where he served as Head of the School of Mathematics and Statistics for the final nine years of his career, overseeing 70 academic staff and 10,000 students. Growing up on the Mid Coast, Bruce's love of numbers surfaced early — inspired by passionate teachers, he studied mathematics and theoretical physics, rising from lecturer to full professor over a decades-long career.

With a background in teaching and university education, Janine brings determination, adaptability, and an insatiable drive for knowledge to everything she does.

Dr Wendy Wright is a poet, translator, and academic whose life journey—from Tokyo to Oxford—has been shaped by a fierce passion for storytelling and the arts. Her work spans Japanese literary translation, creative writing, and intercultural education.
