Accessibility Statement

Our Commitment

We are committed to ensuring digital accessibility for all users, including people with disabilities. We strive to meet the requirements of the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.2 Level AA.

Steps we’ve taken to improve accessibility

  • The site is responsive and adapts to the screen size of any device.

  • Font size and spacing can be adjusted by users (via browser settings or the GetWCAG widget).

  • Colour contrast and saturation can be changed through the widget’s high‑contrast, colour‑inversion and monochrome modes.

  • All interactive elements can be reached and operated using the Tab key.

  • “Skip to Main Content” links are placed on key pages.

  • Content is organised with clear headings, mindfully-worded paragraphs and bulleted/numbered lists for easy reading.

  • Meaningful alt text is provided for informative images; decorative images may have empty alt attributes.

  • Buttons and links are labelled with descriptive text.

  • We provide links to free screen‑reader extensions (like Read Aloud) for users who prefer an external assistive tool.

Limitations of our site’s accessibility

There may be some parts of our website where users experience difficulty, such as:

  • Third party apps, plugins or systems that may not be fully accessible or compliant, and are beyond our control to modify

  • Some downloadable files, such as PDFs, may not have all been tested for accessibility

  • Some video and audio media may not have captions available
